Air Force Station Srinagar, in collaboration with the Directorate of Air Veterans, Air Headquarters, organised an Air Veteran Outreach Programme at the Zila Sainik Board, Srinagar, witnessing enthusiastic participation from Air Veterans and Veer Naris.

The programme aimed at strengthening engagement with the veteran community while addressing key welfare-related concerns. Officials highlighted the role of the Directorate of Air Veterans in formulating and implementing welfare policies, overseeing pension administration including the SPARSH system, ensuring timely grievance redressal, and conducting sustained outreach initiatives for the veteran fraternity.

As part of the event, Veer Naris were felicitated as a mark of honour and respect for their sacrifice and resilience. A dedicated SPARSH help desk was also set up to facilitate on-the-spot resolution of pension-related issues, providing direct assistance and guidance to veterans and their families.

The outreach programme reaffirmed the Indian Air Forceโs unwavering commitment to the dignity, welfare and well-being of its veterans, reflecting its continued resolve to stand by those who have served the nation with distinction.
