Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, visited the Army Air Defence College at Gopalpur to review training standards, operational preparedness, and administrative aspects of the premier Air Defence training institution of the Indian Army.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the modern infrastructure and facilities developed to strengthen the training ecosystem and enhance the quality of life of troops and their families. He reviewed various facets of institutional functioning aimed at preparing Air Defence personnel to meet the demands of contemporary and future battlefields.

Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta appreciated the Collegeโs state-of-the-art training environment and the rigorous professional standards that continue to shape highly skilled Air Defence warriors. He also witnessed an Integrated Air Defence Firepower Demonstration, which showcased coordinated engagement capabilities, high levels of technological proficiency, and seamless integration of systems aligned with emerging operational challenges.

Interacting with the faculty and students, the Army Commander emphasised the enduring values of honour, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to service. He urged the trainees to uphold the finest traditions of the Indian Army and prepare themselves to lead with integrity, competence, and dedication in their future roles as military leaders.
