Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, Army Commander, Western Command, reviewed the operational preparedness of Kharga Corps, assessing the formation’s readiness to undertake missions at short notice across the spectrum of operations.
During the review, Lt Gen Katiyar lauded Kharga Corps for its invaluable contribution during Operation Sindoor and its continued role in nation-building. He acknowledged the professionalism, resilience and combat effectiveness displayed by the formation, which have reinforced its standing as a key strike force of the Indian Army.
The Army Commander exhorted all ranks to internalise and incorporate the lessons learnt from Operation Sindoor, while continuously refining operational plans, tactics and procedures. He stressed the importance of maintaining the highest standards of training, preparedness and adaptability to effectively respond to emerging and dynamic security challenges.
