Troops of CIF Delta, White Knight Corps, in close coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), established contact with the terrorists earlier and re-engaged them on Wednesday at around 11:00 am in extremely challenging terrain. Displaying high levels of tactical precision, coordination and aggressive manoeuvre, the joint force dominated the encounter site.

During the intense exchange, two terrorists were successfully neutralised. A subsequent search of the area led to the recovery of war-like stores, including two AK-47 rifles, confirming the hostile intent and operational capability of the eliminated terrorists.
