The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the AFCAT 1 2026 Result on March 11, 2026, bringing an end to the anxious wait of thousands of candidates who appeared for the examination. Candidates who took the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 2026 can now check their results and download their scorecards from the official website.

Candidates can follow the steps below to check their result:

  1. Visit the official AFCAT website: https://afcat.edcil.co.in/
  2. Click on the link for AFCAT 01/2026 Result.
  3. Enter your User ID and Password.
  4. Click on the Submit button.
  5. Your AFCAT 1 2026 Scorecard will appear on the screen.
  6. Check your marks, cut-off, and AFSB shortlisting status.

Candidates are advised to download and save the scorecard for future reference.

Candidates will also need to download their AFSB call letter after selecting the interview slot.

AFSB Interview Process

The AFSB Interview is a comprehensive five-day selection process designed to assess a candidate’s suitability for a career as an officer in the Indian Air Force.

The evaluation focuses on:

  • Intelligence and reasoning ability
  • Psychological suitability
  • Leadership qualities and officer-like traits
  • Communication skills
  • Physical stamina and teamwork

Only candidates who successfully clear all stages of the AFSB will proceed to the next stage.

Documents Required for AFSB Interview

Candidates must carry the following documents while reporting for the AFSB interview:

  • AFSB Call Letter
  • AFCAT Admit Card
  • AFCAT Scorecard Printout
  • Class 10 Mark Sheet and Certificate (Date of Birth proof)
  • Class 12 Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Graduation Mark Sheets (All semesters/years)
  • Degree Certificate (if completed)
  • Engineering Degree Certificate (for Technical Branch)
  • NCC Certificate (if applicable)
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Passport / Driving License / Voter ID)
  • Passport-size photographs as mentioned in the call letter

Failure to produce the required documents may result in disqualification from the interview process.

AFCAT Medical Standards

Candidates who clear the AFSB Interview will undergo a Medical Examination. The basic medical standards include:
