Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, visited Central Ordnance Depot (COD) Kanpur to review its logistics framework and operational preparedness.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on systems and processes that ensure seamless supply chains, equipment readiness and timely support to formations, particularly those deployed in forward areas. He acknowledged the depot’s pivotal contribution in enhancing survivability and sustenance of troops operating in challenging environments.

Lt Gen Sengupta commended the soldiers and civilian staff for their unwavering dedication, professionalism and commitment to excellence. Emphasising the demands of the evolving security landscape, he exhorted all ranks to remain mission-ready, adaptive and resolute in addressing future challenges.
