Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander of Northern Command, visited units and formations deployed in the hinterland counter-terrorism grid in the Kashmir Valley to review the prevailing security situation.
During the visit, commanders on the ground briefed him on the current operational dynamics, intelligence fusion and coordination with sister security agencies, highlighting efforts to maintain a robust security framework in the region.

Visit to Joint Control Centre Budgam
The Army Commander was also briefed at the Joint Control Centre in Budgam, where he reviewed coordinated multi-agency efforts aimed at ensuring peace, stability and security across the Valley.
Focus on Synergy and Preparedness
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma emphasised the importance of continued synergy between the Army and other security agencies, along with real-time intelligence integration to effectively counter emerging threats.
