The Basic Cyber Security Course at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Mhow concluded on 17 March 2026, with officers from various arms of the Indian Army and Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs) successfully completing the programme.
The course focused on equipping officers with advanced cyber security skills and technical expertise, essential for operations in the modern high-tech battlefield environment.

Awards and Felicitation
The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Major General Gautam Mahajan, SM, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, MCTE, who felicitated the graduating officers and presented awards to outstanding performers.
Captain Suprateek Jha was adjudged the Best Student of the course for his exceptional performance.
Participation of Friendly Foreign Countries
Officers from Chad, Kazakhstan, Mozambique, Peru and Egypt participated in the course, reflecting the growing scope of international military cooperation and training exchange.
The foreign officer trainees were presented with the Indian Army Lapel Pin, symbolising a lifelong bond and enduring association with the Indian Army.
