Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Command, visited the Rangapahar Military Station to review the operational preparedness of troops under the III Corps.
During the visit, the Army Commander assessed the readiness levels of formations and units tasked with safeguarding the sensitive northeastern region. The interaction provided an opportunity to review ongoing operational commitments, infrastructure, and preparedness measures aimed at ensuring stability and security in the region.

Lt Gen Tiwari commended all ranks for their steadfast dedication and professionalism. He praised the troops for their relentless efforts in strengthening security, maintaining high morale, and upholding the trust of local communities while operating in challenging terrain and operational environments.

The Army Commander also highlighted the importance of sustained vigilance and operational excellence in the region. He emphasized that maintaining a high level of readiness remains essential for addressing emerging security challenges and ensuring peace and stability across the Northeast.
