Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, Army Commander of Eastern Command, visited Trishakti Corps to review the operational situation and preparedness in the region.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the formation’s operational environment, readiness levels and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening defence capabilities.

Review of Trishakti FabLab and Simulation Facilities
Lt Gen Tiwari also reviewed the newly established Trishakti FabLab and Operational Simulation facilities, which are designed to promote innovation and technological integration within the formation.
The Trishakti FabLab focuses on emerging technologies such as drones, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence and mechatronics. The facility also includes in-house drone production capabilities, enabling soldiers to develop indigenous technological solutions to operational challenges.

Emphasis on Innovation and Transformation
The Army Commander lauded the initiative and commended the formation for its professionalism, innovation and operational excellence.
He noted that such initiatives align with the Indian Army’s vision under the ‘Decade of Transformation’ and the ‘Year of Tech Absorption’, aimed at integrating advanced technologies and promoting self-reliant defence capabilities.

The visit highlighted the Indian Army’s growing focus on technology-driven warfare, innovation and indigenous capability development to meet evolving security challenges.
