The Indian Navy marked a significant milestone with the Course Completion Divisions (Passing Out Parade) of 53 officer trainees from the 107th Integrated Officer Training Course at the Naval Base in Kochi on April 11, 2026.
The parade was reviewed by Commodore Pramod G Thomas, Commodore (Training), Headquarters Southern Naval Command.

Rigorous 39-Week Training Programme
The officer trainees underwent an intensive 39-week training programme conducted across 14 professional schools of the Indian Navy. The course combined theoretical instruction with hands-on training, utilising advanced simulators, emulators, and modern training models.
This comprehensive training is designed to equip young officers with core naval competencies, leadership skills, and operational knowledge required for their future roles at sea.

Future Leaders Ready for Sea Appointments
As the newly trained officers move on to their respective sea appointments, they carry forward the values of professionalism, discipline, ethics, and commitment that define the Indian Navy.

The event underscores the Navy’s continued focus on high-quality training and leadership development, ensuring a steady pipeline of capable officers ready to meet evolving maritime challenges.
