Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, visited Banbasa Military Station to review operational preparedness and advanced training initiatives.
Accompanied by senior officers including the General Officers Commanding of UB Area and Uttarakhand Sub Area, Lt Gen Sengupta assessed the Drone Training Arena of the Panchshul Warriors, which focuses on integrating cutting-edge technologies into military training.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on advanced drone capabilities, simulation-based training modules, and evolving tactical frameworks designed to meet the demands of modern battlefields.
Highlighting the importance of technology in future conflicts, Lt Gen Sengupta emphasised the need for continuous adaptation, innovation, and rapid adoption of niche technologies to maintain a decisive operational edge.

He commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment, reaffirming the Indian Army’s focus on building a future-ready force through technological advancement and modern training methodologies.
