Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, reviewed the Counter-Terrorism Grid in South Kashmir to assess the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on current ground dynamics and ongoing operations in the region. He emphasised that synergy among agencies, adaptability, precision, and sustained vigilance remain key to the success of intelligence-driven operations and ensuring rapid response to emerging threats.

Lt Gen Sharma also interacted with troops deployed in the area, appreciating their indomitable spirit, professionalism, and unwavering commitment towards maintaining security and stability.

The review highlights the Indian Army’s continued focus on strengthening the counter-terror grid in Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring proactive operations and seamless coordination among security forces.
