The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) has once again reaffirmed its academic excellence by delivering an extraordinary performance in the UPSC NDA Examination, securing the coveted All India Rank 1 position in the May 2026 cycle.
In an official communication shared with SSBCrack, Commandant Colonel Rahul Agarwal expressed pride in the institution’s consistent and stellar achievements, highlighting an unprecedented record over the last five consecutive semesters from May 2024 to May 2026. During this period, RIMC cadets have secured four All India Rank 1 positions, including a remarkable hat-trick of AIR-1 in three consecutive semesters, along with one All India Rank 2, reflecting an exceptionally high standard of performance.

This remarkable journey began with Anmol, who secured AIR 1 in May 2024, followed by Imon Ghosh achieving AIR 1 in May 2025. The momentum continued with Vaibhav Kumar securing AIR 1 in November 2025, and most recently, Parth Kumar Tiwari clinching AIR 1 in May 2026. Such consistent top ranks in the highly competitive NDA examination underline RIMC’s strong academic foundation and disciplined training environment.

Col Rahul Agarwal attributed this phenomenal success to the relentless hard work of the cadets, the dedication of the faculty and mentors, and the continuous support provided by Army Training Command. He emphasized that the conducive and enabling environment created by the institution, backed by the Indian Army’s training ecosystem, has been instrumental in achieving these outstanding results.

The latest achievement further strengthens RIMC’s legacy as one of India’s premier military preparatory institutions, consistently producing candidates who excel in the NDA examination and go on to serve the nation as future leaders of the armed forces.
