Dholpur, April 2026: Cadets of Rashtriya Military School Dholpur have delivered an outstanding performance at the Rajasthan Pre-State Shooting Championship, with 16 students qualifying for the next stage of the competition. The championship was held in Jaipur from April 18 to 22, 2026, featuring participants in Sub Junior (U-14) and Junior (U-18) categories.
Among the 16 successful cadets, four are girl cadets, highlighting the growing participation and excellence of girls in competitive shooting sports at the institution. This achievement builds on the school’s impressive track record earlier this year. In January 2026, 10 cadets from the school, including three girls, qualified for the national-level competition. Notably, one girl cadet went on to earn selection for the India Team Trials in the 10m Air Rifle discipline.

The consistent success of RMS Dholpur cadets reflects the institution’s strong emphasis on sports and co-curricular development. The school provides extensive training facilities and encourages participation in a wide range of activities to ensure holistic development of its students.
Principal Lt Col (Dr) Amit Sharma, VSM, congratulated the cadets on their remarkable achievement and commended the dedication of the coaching staff. He emphasized that such performances not only bring pride to the institution but also motivate other students to actively engage in sports.

RMS Dholpur continues to focus on nurturing well-rounded individuals by offering exposure to sports, adventure activities, and vocational training alongside academic excellence. The latest success at the state-level championship further reinforces its reputation as a premier institution shaping future leaders.
