Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command, reviewed a ceremonial parade and key infrastructure projects at the Naval Station Mandovi in Goa.
During the visit, the senior naval officer inspected station facilities, ongoing infrastructure development projects, and overall operational preparedness of the base. He was briefed on various initiatives aimed at enhancing training standards and strengthening security mechanisms.

Vice Admiral Saxena commended the excellent upkeep and maintenance of the base, appreciating the efforts of personnel in maintaining high standards of discipline and efficiency.

He also emphasised the need to continue focusing on training, infrastructure development, and security preparedness, which are critical to sustaining operational readiness in the maritime domain.

The visit highlights the Indian Navy’s continued emphasis on modernisation, capacity building, and maintaining robust naval infrastructure to support its expanding operational responsibilities.
