The Passing Out Parade of the 7th Batch of Agniveers was held at the Madras Engineer Group and Centre (MEG & Centre) on May 30, 2026, marking the successful culmination of months of rigorous military training.
The ceremony was a proud and emotional occasion for the parents and families of the Agniveers, who witnessed their wards transform into disciplined and combat-ready Sappers prepared to serve the nation.

The young soldiers demonstrated precision drill, military bearing and professionalism, reflecting the high standards of training imparted at the prestigious institution. Their successful completion of training signifies their readiness to undertake operational responsibilities as members of the Corps of Engineers.
Throughout the training period, the Agniveers underwent intensive physical conditioning, military skills training, combat engineering instruction and character development aimed at preparing them for the challenges of modern military operations.

Officials stated that the newly trained Combat Sappers are now equipped with the skills, discipline and resilience required to support operational missions and contribute to the Indian Army’s combat effectiveness.
