The Young Officers’ Course for the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) concluded at the EME School Vadodara on May 12, 2026.
The course was attended by officers of the Indian Army along with officers from Cameroon, reflecting continued professional military cooperation between friendly nations.

Major General Mohit Gandhi, Commandant of EME School, felicitated the award winners and course participants during the closing ceremony.
Captain Sudhir Kumar Tiwari was adjudged the “Overall Best Student” for his outstanding performance during the course. Lieutenant Tasah Thomas Oteh of the Cameroon Army received the Medal of Excellence among foreign officers in recognition of his professional merit and performance.
The course focused on enhancing the technical, operational, and leadership capabilities of young officers, preparing them for future responsibilities in technologically evolving military environments.

The training programme also highlighted the Indian Army’s emphasis on professional military education, technical excellence, and strengthening defence cooperation with partner nations through joint training initiatives.
