The Young Officers’ Course conducted at the RVC Centre and College culminated on May 26, 2026, marking the successful completion of an intensive 22-week military training programme.
The course subjected officers to rigorous physical and mental conditioning, demanding military training, tactical proficiency exercises, and professional development aimed at preparing them for leadership responsibilities in the Indian Army.

Officials stated that the programme focused on developing resilient, mission-oriented leaders capable of serving the nation with honour, courage, commitment, and operational excellence.
The Commandant of the RVC Centre and College presented the prestigious Army Training Command (ARTRAC) Gold Medal to Captain Tanmay Gautam for being adjudged the Best Young Officer of the course.

The ceremony highlighted the continued emphasis of the Indian Army on professional military education, leadership development, and preparing future-ready officers capable of meeting evolving operational challenges.
