Lieutenant General Harjeet Singh Sahi, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, has assumed the appointment of Chief of Staff at Headquarters Western Command from Lieutenant General Puneet Ahuja, AVSM, SM, VSM.
Marking the occasion, both General Officers paid homage to the fallen heroes by laying wreaths at Veer Smriti.
Lt Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi brings with him extensive operational and leadership experience gained through distinguished service in various command and staff appointments across the Indian Army.
The appointment marks an important leadership transition at Western Command, one of the Indian Army’s key operational commands responsible for safeguarding strategically significant sectors along India’s western front.
