Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC Crossed Swords Division, visited forward areas in the Akhnoor sector to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness along the Line of Control.

During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on frontline operational deployments, security dynamics, and measures being undertaken to maintain operational dominance in the sensitive border region.
Lt Gen Mishra commended all ranks for the exemplary coordination and synergy between the Indian Army and the Border Security Force (BSF), highlighting their steadfast vigilance and sustained operational effectiveness along the LoC.

The Army Commander also appreciated the formation’s continued focus on innovation, technology infusion, and adaptive preparedness aimed at countering emerging security challenges and strengthening frontline capability.

The visit underscored the Indian Army’s emphasis on operational readiness, inter-agency cooperation, and modernisation to ensure effective border security and rapid response capability in sensitive operational sectors.
