Lieutenant General Ulhas Kirpekar, Director General Financial Planning (DGFP), visited the Headquarters of the Eastern Command at Vijay Durg in Kolkata.

The DGFP provided guidance on key financial management issues, including effective expenditure planning, prudent utilisation of resources, and financial optimisation measures aimed at enhancing operational and administrative efficiency across formations.
The interaction highlighted the continued emphasis of the Indian Army on strengthening institutional financial management practices to support operational readiness and modernisation initiatives.
