Major General Anindya Choudhury, General Officer Commanding 36 RAPID (S), visited the NCC Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gwalior to review key aspects of training, infrastructure, and administrative functioning.
During the visit, the General Officer was given a comprehensive briefing on the academy’s training methodologies, which are designed to prepare NCC instructors and cadets for leadership roles and operational responsibilities. Discussions also covered ongoing infrastructural development projects aimed at enhancing training capacity and modernising facilities.
Maj Gen Choudhury reviewed administrative frameworks and examined the academy’s future roadmap, focusing on aligning training standards with evolving requirements of the National Cadet Corps and the Indian Army.
He appreciated the academy’s efforts in maintaining high standards of training and professionalism, and emphasized the importance of continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability in shaping future leaders.
The visit highlighted the Indian Army’s commitment to strengthening NCC training institutions and ensuring they remain equipped to meet emerging challenges while contributing to nation-building and youth empowerment.
