Major General Gaurav Gautam, Additional Director General of NCC Uttar Pradesh, visited the NCC Group Headquarters in Prayagraj and interacted with NCC cadets.
During the interaction, he highlighted the role of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) as a vital pillar of nation-building. He emphasised that the organisation plays a key role in instilling discipline, leadership, patriotism, and strong character among the youth, urging cadets to uphold these values and remain committed to the principle of “Nation First.”
Maj Gen Gautam also inspected the NCC Group Headquarters and reviewed the training activities of subordinate battalions. He assessed ongoing programmes and directed efforts toward enhancing efficiency and maintaining high standards of training.
He encouraged officers and cadets to focus on innovation, teamwork, and rigorous training practices to make Uttar Pradesh the leading NCC Directorate in the country.
The visit reaffirmed NCC’s commitment to shaping responsible citizens and future leaders while strengthening its role in national development and youth empowerment.
