The closing address ceremony of Aviation Technical Course (ATC)-35 and Maintenance Conversion Flight (MCF)-35 Course was organised at the Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering of MCEME, Secunderabad, on May 19, 2026.
Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, AVSM, VSM, Commandant MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, addressed the 22 graduating officers, including two officers from the Indian Navy.

The General Officer commended the participants for their dedication, technical proficiency, and professional excellence, while highlighting the increasing importance of aerial platforms in technology-driven and network-centric warfare environments.
Emphasising the evolving character of modern warfare towards long-range precision and stand-off capabilities, Lt Gen Varshney encouraged the officers to pursue continuous learning, professional growth, innovation, and integrity throughout their careers.

In the ATC-35 Course, Major Mudit Gupta was awarded the Commandant’s Gold Medal for securing first position in the Order of Merit. Captain Anand Jebraj received the Commandant’s Silver Medal for standing second and was also awarded the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Book Prize for being adjudged the Overall Best Student.
In the adjunct MCF-35 Course, Maj Mudit Gupta and Major Bishal Paul were awarded the Commandant’s Gold Medal for securing first position in the ALH and Cheetah/Chetak streams respectively.

Among the six technical projects undertaken during the course, the project titled “Design and Development of a 3D Printed Fixed-Wing Drone” by Major Harshita, Captain Ashish Kumar, and Captain Divyansh Joshi was adjudged the Best Project, showcasing innovation and collaborative technical excellence among the officers.
