Surgeon Vice Admiral Vivek Hande, Director General (Organisation and Personnel) of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), visited the Military Hospital and Forward Medical Stores Depot at Pathankot Military Station to review healthcare facilities and operational medical support infrastructure.

During his visit to the hospital, the officer interacted with patients and appreciated the officers and staff for their dedicated service, professionalism, and continued efforts towards ensuring quality patient care.
Surg Vice Admiral Hande also lauded the contribution of the hospital and the depot during Operation Sindoor and various Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.

He complimented the Commandant and the medical teams for maintaining high standards of healthcare services that have been widely appreciated by serving personnel, veterans, and their families.

The visit highlighted the critical role played by the Armed Forces Medical Services in sustaining operational readiness and delivering effective medical support during military operations and humanitarian missions.
