Addressing the gathering, Air Vice Marshal Golani congratulated the trainees on successfully completing their intensive and rigorous training programme. He acknowledged the determination, hard work and discipline demonstrated by them throughout the demanding course.

The training at the Mechanical Transport Training Institute is designed to equip Agniveervayu personnel with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to operate, maintain and support the wide range of automobiles and specialised vehicles used by the Indian Air Force.

During the course, the trainees underwent comprehensive instruction in automobile technology, vehicle maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair procedures, road safety and the handling of different categories of mechanical transport. The programme also included military training intended to develop physical fitness, discipline, teamwork and operational awareness.

Automobile Technicians play an important role in ensuring the mobility and logistical preparedness of the Indian Air Force. They are responsible for maintaining vehicles used for transporting personnel, equipment and essential supplies across Air Force establishments and operational locations.

The uninterrupted availability and serviceability of mechanical transport assets are crucial for supporting routine operations, emergency responses and mission-related deployments. The newly trained Agniveervayu personnel will now contribute to maintaining these assets in a high state of operational readiness.

Air Vice Marshal Golani urged the passing-out trainees to uphold the highest standards of professionalism while performing their duties. He emphasised that technical competence must be supported by integrity, discipline, responsibility and an unwavering commitment to the service.

The Reviewing Officer also encouraged the Agniveervayu personnel to follow the path of nation-building and to conduct themselves with professionalism, camaraderie and a strong service ethos. He reminded them that their conduct and performance would contribute directly to the efficiency and operational effectiveness of the Indian Air Force.

The ceremonial parade showcased the confidence, military bearing and training standards achieved by the trainees. Their coordinated movements and disciplined turnout reflected the transformation they had undergone during their time at the institute.

The passing-out ceremony concluded with the 412 Agniveervayu Automobile Technicians stepping into a new phase of their careers. They will now be posted to different Indian Air Force units, where they will apply their technical training and support the service’s operational, transport and logistical requirements.

Their graduation from the Mechanical Transport Training Institute reinforces the Indian Air Force’s continuing focus on developing technically skilled, disciplined and mission-oriented personnel capable of meeting the evolving demands of modern military operations.
