Brigadier K. Uday Bhanu was promoted to the rank of Brigadier on 25 June 2026 and will assume command of Military Hospital Bareilly, succeeding Brigadier Kiran S.
A distinguished Interventional Radiologist, Brig K. Uday Bhanu previously served as the Head of the Department of Radiology at Command Hospital (Eastern Command), Kolkata, where he earned recognition for his clinical expertise, academic contributions and leadership in military healthcare.
With extensive experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology, the officer has played a significant role in advancing patient care, medical education and the adoption of modern radiological practices within the Armed Forces Medical Services.
His appointment as Commandant of Military Hospital Bareilly is expected to further strengthen the institution’s focus on quality healthcare, professional excellence and operational medical support for serving personnel, veterans and their families.
