Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi visited Trinity Area to review the operational preparedness and administrative readiness of the formation.
During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on the prevailing security situation and a range of initiatives being undertaken to strengthen operational effectiveness, logistics support and overall force readiness. Senior commanders provided updates on measures aimed at enhancing the formation’s capability to respond to evolving security challenges while maintaining a high state of preparedness.

The briefing also covered efforts to improve logistics infrastructure, streamline operational support systems and integrate modern practices to ensure mission effectiveness under diverse operational conditions.
General Dwivedi reviewed the formation’s readiness and appreciated the measures being implemented to enhance operational and administrative capabilities. He emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of professionalism, vigilance and preparedness to effectively meet emerging challenges.
Interacting with officers and troops, the COAS commended their dedication, commitment to duty and unwavering focus on operational excellence. He encouraged all ranks to continue striving for excellence while upholding the highest traditions and values of the Indian Army.

As part of the visit, General Dwivedi also presented COAS Commendation Cards to selected personnel in recognition of their exemplary service, devotion to duty and significant contributions towards enhancing operational effectiveness.
The awards acknowledged outstanding individual achievements and professional excellence, reflecting the Indian Army’s commitment to recognising merit and encouraging exceptional performance across all ranks.
