General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited the Headquarters of the Central Command, where he reviewed the Command’s operational preparedness, force modernisation efforts and capability enhancement initiatives.
During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on various measures being undertaken by Central Command to strengthen integrated combat capabilities and enhance readiness across its area of responsibility. The briefing covered operational preparedness, infrastructure development, technological advancements and ongoing modernization programmes aimed at addressing emerging security challenges.
Gen Dwivedi also interacted with officers of Headquarters Central Command and various Formation Headquarters through a hybrid format, enabling wider participation across the command.
Addressing the officers, the COAS underscored the importance of leveraging emerging technologies, fostering innovation and enhancing operational agility to effectively meet the demands of the rapidly evolving battlefield environment. He highlighted the growing significance of technology-driven warfare and the need for continuous adaptation to future operational challenges.
