Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the Ace of Spades Division, visited forward areas in the Nowshera Sector to assess the prevailing security environment and review the combat effectiveness of troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra was briefed on the operational situation, force posture, surveillance measures and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening operational capabilities in the sector. The review focused on maintaining a high level of combat readiness and ensuring the effectiveness of security measures along the sensitive frontier.
The Corps Commander assessed the preparedness of troops and reviewed the integration of surveillance and monitoring systems employed to maintain situational awareness and operational dominance in the area.
Interacting with soldiers deployed at forward locations, Lt Gen Mishra commended their professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment to duty. He lauded the troops for their high morale, steadfast vigilance and relentless efforts in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers under challenging operational conditions.

Emphasising the importance of constant readiness and adaptability, the Corps Commander encouraged all ranks to continue maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence while remaining prepared to respond effectively to evolving security challenges.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to maintaining robust security arrangements and ensuring a strong defensive posture along the Line of Control through continuous operational preparedness and force modernisation initiatives.
