Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Western Command, reviewed the operational preparedness of the Rising Star Corps, assessing the formation’s readiness to meet current and emerging security challenges.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the Corps’ operational capabilities, preparedness measures and ongoing initiatives aimed at maintaining a high state of combat readiness across its area of responsibility.

Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh commended the formation for its professionalism, operational prowess and commitment to maintaining operational excellence. He appreciated the Corps’ efforts in ensuring mission readiness and adapting to evolving battlefield requirements.
