Lieutenant General VMB Krishnan, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Eastern Command, visited Narangi Military Station to review the operational and administrative preparedness of the formation.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the prevailing security environment, operational readiness and administrative initiatives being undertaken to ensure the formation remains prepared to meet emerging challenges. He reviewed various measures aimed at maintaining a high state of readiness and enhancing overall operational effectiveness.

Lt Gen Krishnan assessed the formation’s preparedness across operational and administrative domains and interacted with officers and troops to gain firsthand insights into ongoing activities and capability enhancement efforts.
The Eastern Army Commander appreciated the formation for its high morale, professionalism and steadfast commitment to duty. He commended all ranks for maintaining exemplary standards of readiness and operational efficiency while carrying out their responsibilities.
