A Tri-Services Principal Maintenance Officers’ Committee (PMOC) delegation comprising officers from Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS), the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force visited Chandimandir Military Station to strengthen inter-service cooperation in maintenance, logistics and sustainment.
During the visit, the delegation interacted with Lieutenant General Harjeet Singh Sahi, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Western Command, along with senior military officers.

The discussions focused on enhancing coordination among the three Services through the exchange of best practices and operational experiences in the fields of maintenance management, logistics support and sustainment planning. The interaction provided a valuable platform to address common challenges and identify opportunities for greater integration and efficiency.
The delegation deliberated on measures aimed at improving equipment availability, streamlining maintenance processes and strengthening logistical support mechanisms to meet the evolving requirements of modern military operations.

The visit highlighted the growing emphasis on jointness and interoperability among the Armed Forces, with a focus on developing integrated support structures capable of sustaining multi-domain operations.
By fostering collaboration and sharing expertise across the Army, Navy and Air Force, the engagement contributed to strengthening inter-service synergy and enhancing overall operational preparedness.
