New Delhi, July 28: Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, interacted with the nine-member crew of IASV Triveni following the successful completion of Samudra Pradakshina, India’s first-ever Tri-Service all-women circumnavigation sailing expedition. The interaction recognised the crew’s remarkable achievement in completing one of the most challenging maritime expeditions undertaken by women officers of the Indian Armed Forces.
The crew of IASV Triveni comprised four women officers from the Indian Air Force, four from the Indian Army, and one from the Indian Navy, reflecting the growing spirit of jointness and integration among the three services. Together, they completed an extraordinary 314-day voyage, sailing nearly 25,500 nautical miles across four oceans before returning to India on July 22, 2026.
Congratulating the officers on their landmark accomplishment, Air Chief Marshal A.P.
