Air Marshal Jasvir Singh Mann, AVSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Southern Air Command (SAC), visited Air Force Station Suryalanka to review its operational preparedness and assess ongoing activities, reaffirming the Indian Air Force’s commitment to maintaining a high state of combat readiness.

During the visit, the Air Marshal conducted a comprehensive review of the station’s operational capabilities, infrastructure and training activities. The assessment focused on ensuring that the station remains fully prepared to undertake its assigned operational responsibilities and respond effectively to evolving security challenges.

Interacting with officers, air warriors and other personnel, Air Marshal Mann emphasised the importance of maintaining 24×7 operational readiness.
