Chandimandir, July 25, 2026: Lieutenant General Amit Kabthiyal, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Vajra Corps, visited the Flaming Arrow Brigade to review its operational preparedness, combat readiness and ongoing capability enhancement initiatives.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the brigade’s operational preparedness, training standards and measures undertaken to maintain a high state of readiness in line with evolving security requirements. The review highlighted the formation’s continued efforts to remain mission-ready while adapting to the changing nature of modern warfare.
Lt Gen Kabthiyal commended the brigade for its sustained focus on integrating emerging technologies into military operations. He appreciated the initiatives aimed at strengthening operational capabilities through the adoption of advanced systems, improved battlefield awareness and technology-driven solutions designed to enhance operational effectiveness.

The GOC also reviewed infrastructure development undertaken by the brigade to support operational efficiency and long-term readiness. He praised the formation’s commitment to maintaining robust operational infrastructure while ensuring that personnel remain prepared for a wide spectrum of operational scenarios.

Interacting with officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and soldiers, Lt Gen Kabthiyal lauded the professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment displayed by the Vajra Warriors. He acknowledged their contribution towards maintaining the operational excellence of the formation and their steadfast commitment to the Corps’ mission.

Addressing all ranks, the Corps Commander urged personnel to remain agile, adaptive and future-focused in the face of emerging security challenges. He emphasised the importance of continuously upgrading skills, embracing technological advancements and maintaining the highest standards of combat readiness to respond swiftly and effectively to any operational contingency.
