Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, visited forward operational locations of the Ace of Spades Division and Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Romeo to review the prevailing security situation and assess the formations’ operational preparedness. The visit underscored the Indian Army’s continued focus on maintaining combat readiness and ensuring a secure and stable environment in one of the country’s strategically important operational areas.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra was briefed extensively on the prevailing security environment and the formations’ preparedness to effectively respond to evolving operational challenges. Senior military officials provided updates on capability enhancement initiatives, surveillance systems, precision strike capabilities and measures being undertaken to strengthen operational readiness in accordance with the changing character of modern warfare.
The White Knight Corps Commander reviewed the operational preparedness of the formations, with particular emphasis on technological integration and future-oriented capability development. The briefings highlighted the Indian Army’s efforts to enhance situational awareness and combat effectiveness through advanced surveillance systems, improved operational planning and precision engagement capabilities designed to address both present and emerging security threats.
