Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Indian Army’s Southern Command, visited the Headquarters of the South Western Air Command (SWAC) to review inter-service coordination and discuss key operational issues with senior Indian Air Force leadership. During the visit, he interacted with Air Marshal PV Shivanand, AVSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of South Western Air Command, along with other senior officers at the command headquarters.
The high-level interaction underscored the Indian Armed Forces’ continued emphasis on strengthening jointness, enhancing operational synergy and promoting integrated planning among the three services as part of India’s ongoing military transformation.
