Major General Maneesh Kukrety, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Madhya UP Sub Area, delivered an insightful lecture on Combat First Aid to participants of the Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care (YRCCC) Course at the Army Medical Corps (AMC) Centre & College, Lucknow.
Drawing upon his extensive operational experience, the General Officer highlighted the critical importance of the Golden Hour in combat situations and emphasised the decisive role of trained first responders in improving battlefield survivability.

Through real-life operational case studies, Maj Gen Kukrety illustrated how timely medical intervention during the crucial moments following an injury can significantly enhance survival rates and save lives on the battlefield.

The session reinforced the importance of combat casualty care training in building medical preparedness, enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring that soldiers remain mission-ready to meet the challenges of future battlefields.
