The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) bid a formal farewell to Shri Sudhir Kumar, Additional Director General (North), and Smt. Nilima Rani Singh, Inspector General (CS), on their superannuation at a befitting felicitation ceremony held at the CISF Force Headquarters in New Delhi.
The ceremony was organised to honour the two senior officers for their distinguished careers and dedicated service to the Force. Their superannuation marked the culmination of years of professional commitment, leadership and contribution towards the organisation’s operational and administrative responsibilities.
During their respective tenures, both officers served in senior leadership positions and contributed to the functioning and strengthening of the CISF, which plays a critical role in securing vital installations and critical infrastructure across the country.
The felicitation recognised their utmost commitment to duty and the professional standards they upheld throughout their service. Their contributions were acknowledged as part of the Force’s tradition of honouring personnel who have devoted their careers to strengthening the organisation and fulfilling its mandate.

Shri Sudhir Kumar, who served as ADG/North, was recognised for his contribution to the Force during his tenure and for carrying out responsibilities associated with senior command and leadership. His service reflected the discipline and professionalism expected of senior officers of the CISF.
Smt. Nilima Rani Singh, IG/CS, was similarly honoured for her dedicated service and contribution to the organisation. Her tenure in a senior leadership role reflected the growing responsibilities entrusted to experienced officers within the Force.
The farewell ceremony also highlighted the strong tradition of camaraderie and institutional respect within the CISF, with serving personnel coming together to acknowledge the contributions of officers completing their careers.
