RVC Centre & College, Meerut has further strengthened the practical capabilities of its officers through an intensive hands-on training programme conducted at the Equine Breeding Stud, Babugarh.
A total of eight officers from the RVC Centre & College participated in the specialised practical training, which was designed to complement theoretical knowledge with direct field experience and strengthen professional competence in equine veterinary care.
During the training, the officers gained practical exposure to various aspects of equine breeding and reproductive management. The programme provided an opportunity to understand and apply specialised techniques in real-world settings, helping participants translate classroom knowledge into operational skills.
A key component of the training was assisted reproduction using frozen semen. The officers received hands-on exposure to procedures associated with equine breeding and reproductive technologies, enhancing their understanding of modern methods used to improve breeding outcomes.
The training also covered ultrasonography and diagnostic techniques, giving the officers practical experience in using advanced tools for examination, assessment and veterinary decision-making.
