Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DG AFMS) Air Marshal Sandeep Thareja visited 92 Base Hospital on September 24, 2026, where he reviewed the hospital’s operational and medical preparedness and interacted with healthcare personnel, troops and patients.
During the visit, Air Marshal Thareja assessed the hospital’s preparedness and the medical capabilities available for providing healthcare support to Armed Forces personnel and other beneficiaries.
The DG AFMS commended the hospital team for maintaining high professional standards and appreciated the efforts of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and other personnel involved in patient care and medical services.
As part of the visit, Air Marshal Thareja interacted with troops and patients at the hospital, gaining first-hand feedback on the healthcare services and facilities being provided.
