Lieutenant General Amit Kabthiyal, YSM, SM**, General Officer Commanding, Vajra Corps, visited Double Victory Brigade and reviewed its operational preparedness, training standards, technological initiatives and overall mission readiness.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the brigade’s operational commitments, preparedness and ongoing efforts to enhance its capabilities in line with the evolving character of warfare. The review also covered training standards and the integration of modern technology into operational and training practices.
Lt Gen Kabthiyal commended the troops for maintaining high standards of combat readiness and professional excellence. He emphasised the importance of remaining agile, innovative and offensive in spirit while adapting to the rapidly changing battlefield environment.
The Corps Commander also underscored the need to harness cutting-edge technologies to strengthen operational effectiveness and maintain an edge over emerging challenges. The emphasis on technology-enabled capabilities reflects the Indian Army’s wider focus on modernisation, innovation and preparing formations for increasingly complex and technology-driven operations.
The visit provided an opportunity for the senior leadership to interact with troops and reinforce the importance of realistic training, continuous capability enhancement and mission-oriented preparedness.
