The Dao Division under the Spear Corps conducted a comprehensive validation exercise across forward locations in Arunachal Pradesh, aimed at refining battle procedures, tactical drills, and ensuring seamless integration of all sub-units operating in the regionโs challenging terrain.

The validation focused on synchronising command and control mechanisms, testing real-time coordination between infantry, artillery, engineers, and support elements, and reinforcing the Divisionโs ability to operate cohesively in multi-domain scenarios. The exercise also validated logistic agility, surveillance integration, and quick-reaction capabilities vital for operations in high-altitude, remote areas.

Operational Readiness in Extreme Terrain
Carried out in the rugged mountainous terrain of Arunachal Pradesh, the drills tested troopsโ endurance, adaptability, and response under simulated battle conditions. Special emphasis was placed on rapid deployment, communication resilience, and terrain-adaptive tactics, ensuring that formations remain mission-ready for any contingency along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
