Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps, conducted a visit to the forward posts in the Batalik and Kargil sectors to review the overall security situation and assess the operational readiness of troops deployed in the high-altitude regions along the Line of Control (LoC).

During his visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the latest developments in the area, ongoing operational preparedness measures, and the challenges posed by extreme weather and terrain conditions. He also reviewed the infrastructure and logistics arrangements supporting soldiers operating in these strategically sensitive sectors.
