The Indian Air Forceโs famed Suryakiran Aerobatic Team touched down at Al Maktoum International Airport ahead of their participation in the prestigious Dubai Air Show 2025.
Their presence underscores Indiaโs growing engagement in global aviation platforms and highlights the IAFโs commitment to strengthening defence and aerospace ties with the UAE and other international partners. The team will showcase Indiaโs indigenous skill, precision flying, and aerial expertise at one of the worldโs most prominent aviation exhibitions.
The Dubai Air Show 2025, scheduled from 17โ21 November at Dubai World Central, brings together over 1,500 exhibitors, 490 official delegations, 350 speakers, and more than 200 aircraft in both static and flying displays โ reaffirming its status as a leading stage for next-generation aerospace innovation.
Upon arrival, the Suryakirans completed all mandatory procedures, including immigration formalities supported by JETEX services. As per international air show regulations, the team will undergo mandatory safety briefings, display validations, and secure designated flying slots before their aerobatic routines.
The Indian contingentโs Hawk Mk-132 aircraft will perform synchronised formation manoeuvres, further solidifying their global reputation for precision, discipline, and showmanship. Participation required updated flying currency, recent validation checks, and adherence to stringent international display norms.
Indiaโs involvement in Dubai Air Show 2025 reflects the rising global recognition of its aerospace capabilities. Such platforms also create opportunities for defence exports, joint developments, and deeper engagement with industry stakeholders from the Gulf, Europe, Russia, and the Americas.
Previous appearances by Indian teams โ including the Suryakirans, Sarang helicopter display team, and the TEJAS demonstration unit โ have received widespread acclaim. Aviation enthusiasts and observers now eagerly anticipate another series of spectacular manoeuvres over Dubaiโs skyline.
The Suryakiransโ participation stands as a powerful testament to Indiaโs aerial excellence and reinforces its defence diplomacy outreach on a prominent international stage.
