Ranbankura Division, under the aegis of Chetak Corps, conducted a forward area Operational Orientation Visit for officers undergoing the Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC), providing them with first-hand insight into field-level planning, preparedness and execution of operations in active formations.

During the visit, the officers were comprehensively briefed on the operational readiness of the Division, including the deployment philosophy, battle preparedness measures and the integration of emerging technologies into operational frameworks. They were also updated on ongoing training activities aimed at enhancing operational efficacy, coordination and interoperability among various arms and services.

The interaction offered HDMC officers a deeper understanding of the complexities of terrain, threat dynamics and the tactical considerations that shape operational decisions in forward areas.
