The Bi-Annual Joint Army–Air Force Logistics (BAJAAL) Conference was held in Udhampur to enhance coordination, interoperability, and logistical efficiency in sustaining troops deployed in forward areas marked by harsh terrain and extreme climatic conditions.

Senior officials from both services deliberated on ways to improve joint air maintenance operations, optimise resource utilisation, and reinforce logistic support structures for formations operating along challenging frontlines. The discussions highlighted the importance of seamless synergy between the Army and Air Force to ensure uninterrupted supply chains, operational readiness, and high troop morale.
The conference reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to strengthening integrated logistics mechanisms, enabling faster decision-making and robust support to soldiers serving in remote and inhospitable regions.
