Rear Admiral Anshuman Chauhan, ACNS(AM), reviewed the Passing Out Division of the 71st AEO/ALO Course at the Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology (NIAT), marking the successful culmination of 56 weeks of intensive professional training.
The historic occasion was highlighted by the commissioning of the first two women Air Technical Officers (ATOs) in the Naval Air Arm- Lieutenant Anjali Yadav and Lieutenant Saniya Peerzade, a milestone in advancing gender inclusivity and operational capability within the Indian Navy.
The ceremony celebrated the dedication, skill, and perseverance of all graduating officers, underscoring the Navy’s commitment to nurturing excellence, embracing diversity, and expanding opportunities for women in uniform.
